#Selbseries | Behind the White Dots Jacket

Ever since I wore the hijab, I always found it difficult to get the perfect white shirt. Being in a humid country and having to cover up head to toe, wearing white has always been ideal. But after wearing the hijab for almost 5 years, there was always something wrong about the white shirts I bought; 1) Too translucent 2) Bodice part is lined, but the sleeves are still translucent 3) So difficult to iron, and because its white, the crinkles are even more obvious. ( I was just ironing a white shirt I bought from Zara and it really ruined my morning, see photo below. )   4) A bit too coorperate looking 5) Doesn't cover my butt/thighs  ...

#lullyslist | BE debut art exhibition

It was a busy afternoon when a group of art educators sat down and finishing art work preparation while some were having a brief training for the next art lesson. Someone just said, "Hey, let's have a group exhibition!" After a few meetings of discussion and finalizing the theme, the exhibition's opening will be happening this Saturday, 7pm at Artistry Cafe! Amongst the group there are artists and designers whose artworks will be portraying on 'Forgotten Memories'.  The exhibition aims to create awareness and raise funds for the elderly living with Dementia.  All sales of artworks and donations will go to New Horizon Centres- providing day care services for persons with Dementia.  Do come at support the artists and their charity...

Seems like almost every other day, I have something marble on me. If not the shawl, Id be seen wearing the top. The one thing I truly love about this marble peplum is that the fabric is crinkle free!!! Well, if you're  a neat freak, then perhaps you'll want to iron a little. #lullyslist | Weekend Escapade

Last weekend, my girlfriends of fifteen years and I went for our first trip out of Singapore. Being such adreanline junkie, we went to Sunway Lagoon for a short escapade. Once we checked in at Sunway Resort Suites, we changed into our wet activity gear. I wore my sister's Burqini with an additional onesie tudung.  We went for dry and wet rides one after another. Unlike the Universal Studio here, we could stay in our seats and request for another ride. My chest felt tired from the screaming and we waited for the waves at the pool. Funny encounters happened! Once being swept by the waves, our tudung went out of place which made random strangers and ourselves laughed in...

While we're still in the mood for marble craze, here's a little throwback on the days where we were experimenting our marbling technique. And if you're a sucker for this, you can do it at home too.
