#lullyslist | The LS Experience: Workshop

Last Saturday we held a cosy workshop at the Mad Sailors and coincidently the theme for our workshop was Nautical Street - our year end collection. (PART OF BLUES AND NUDES) We were nervous yet excited as it was our first time sharing our processes in creating a print.  We kept the group small; 13 participants and some of them whom we remember meeting at our previous pop up events. Our blogger friend Dalillah Ismail who writes at Aveil of Modesty also joined in the fun on that rainy Saturday morning.  The nature of creating LS prints is that Lully aka Huda and Selma will always start off drawing motifs or painting on canvases. #Selbseries | PostMarbleCrazeStyling I

The best thing about this marbled printed shawl is that you can literally wear it from day to night, casual to corperate, picnics to parties. Because there's just so many ways of wearing the print, I'm gonna do 2 Selbseries Blogposts; this first one kinda just focuses on the shawls.    So first up, super casual friday evening look for a barbeque that my husband's ex boss organised coz it was his last day at Linkedin. Knowing that the artist herself is still alive and making art is really inspiring. Will I be able to grow old and make art just like her? Here are some of my favourites from the exhibition.   Ps: We still have a few passes...

#Selb Series | Exoticgetaway

I just came back from an amazing short getaway and as I'm writing this, I'm missing the serenity of Maluku. Imagine this. No wifi, no shops, not many people ( our resort has only about 12 other guests ), no cars, no air pollution, just 360 degree view of pure greenery, blue waters and the clear skies.  My husband and I started the journey on Thursday night, 8pm flight from SG to Jakarta, Jakarta to Ambon. Due to the time difference ( and Ambon is really far ), we arrived 6am Friday. And we thought we're gonna get the to waters right after, well.. the adventure just begun. As soon as all the other 9 guests and our guide arrived...
