Ocassionally, one would fall into a creative rut. For the past week, I was unwell and uninspired. The inspirations to create new designs were not coming to me. I decided to have a time- out and here are things I did and discovered to get me back on track. 1. Stimulate your sense As some of you might know, I'm also a freelance art specialist at a pre school centre. For one the my sessions, the young ones did popsicle painting. I added layers of paints and foof colouring in a popsicle mould and let it freeze. Once ready the kids happily drag those frozen colours on papers. I also played along with the excessive popsicles. This July has been indeed an exciting one! Ramadhan and Eid have always been the busiest time of the year but this year is extra special. As I thought through what I wanted to write, I realized that you only really start to count your blessings when you pen them down one by one. 1) We had our best sales this Ramadan since we launched a year ago! Its been a really busy week as we're counting down to our big Anniversary Lully Selb Party happening on the 28th of May. Producing a collection and planning an event at the same time has its own challenges. Every other day, there is a problem to be solved and decisions to be made. But what keeps us going is the adrenaline rush and the excitement to reveal our Eid Collection.
