#lullyslist | The LS Experience: Workshop

Last Saturday we held a cosy workshop at the Mad Sailors and coincidently the theme for our workshop was Nautical Street - our year end collection. (PART OF BLUES AND NUDES) We were nervous yet excited as it was our first time sharing our processes in creating a print. We kept the group small; 13 participants and some of them whom we remember meeting at our previous pop up events. Our blogger friend Dalillah Ismail who writes at Aveil of Modesty also joined in the fun on that rainy Saturday morning.

#lullyslist | New tool!!

All along I’ve been creating the prints for Lully Selb the manual way which isn’t so bad. However the problem comes when preparing digital files for the printers to get to work! Before getting a Wacom tablet, I’ve been using Macbook’s trackpad to draw on photoshop. (There wasn’t a mouse around and my fingers became quite sore after rounds of drawing).We decided to get a Wacom tablet ever since we got increasingly overwhelming responds these past few months. Our hard work paid off thanks to our #lullyselbsquad who have been so supportive and purchased our recent Eid Collection - Blnk Canvs. Now that we have the Wacom Tablet, I’ve been exploring designs and having fun with this new tool! I’ve not been to Johor Bahru in the longest time ever! For this day trip, we went cafe hopping. Apparently the hipster area along Jalan Dhoby are just walking distance behind JB Central/ City Square.My friends and I had the most dense nitrogen ice cream from The Ice Cream Project.
