The other day after our #postmarblecraze photoshoot, I headed down to Ota Fine Arts Gallery at Gillman Barracks to catch Yayoi’s Kusama:Prints. It was the last day! Like a bag lady with all the stuffs from the photoshoot, I dont care! Just wanna catch the paintings!
The moment I stepped into the gallery, my jaw dropped looking at the massive monochrome patterns on canvas. The prints were opposite the canvases. I admired each and every piece there. Knowing that the artist herself is still alive and making art is really inspiring. Will I be able to grow old and make art just like her? Here are some of my favourites from the exhibition.
