#LSwithyou is a social campaign to create awareness of artists with special needs. Leong Sijun is a highly talented special needs youth and we are honoured to work with him again on his original paintings to create this Underwater Series.
Besides painting his favourite underwater animals, he loves to explore different lines and textures to express the beautiful corals.
This white based shawl is a winning print as it is so versatile for someone who has a colourful wardrobe; you can practically wear this shawl with any colour.
How we created it?
Sijun's original acrylic painting of corals are full of vibrant colours, shapes and line works. We extracted some of the elements and repeated around the shawl, keeping his main work as the central focus. We left some white parts to have some "breathing space." All strokes, patterns and forms are his own handwork.
