Hey, I hope all of you had a great time well spent during this festive break mid week and the upcoming new years holiday. Last Saturday was a very special day as I got engaged. It was double happiness to know that Selb gave birth to her second child a day before my engagement; like how our birthdays are also a day apart.
Pior to preparing for the event I was quite anxious, cleaning up the house especially my room which was full of art materials. I am ever so grateful to my family; most importantly my sister who made my room fancy. Look at the room set up by her!
The glam squad; my cousin Rianna who also did the make up for some of our campaigns and fashion show. What I like about her style of make up is that the makeup wasn't 'cakey' and my brows were drawn well; a soft look as I can't pull off super thick brows. Also, another dear cousin Saiful Maroni who made my dress to match the lovely shawl i bought from The Turkish Cloth many years ago! My bouquet of roses were from The Hppy Day Sg.
Two of the gift trays were done by alanros.sg. The Russian honey cake, Medovik with peaches by Puan Ima were so delicious! It was creamy, slightly sweet and light. The tarts by The Wall Flour is another hit favourite. They were grabbed in seconds. My favourite would be the dark chocolate!
Throughout the merisik/tunang discussion outside, it felt very surreal. I got emotional when one of my fiance's aunt came into my room to put a ring on my finger.
And now, preparation for my wedding has begun! So many on the checklist. While waiting for my new abode to be ready in three years, I will have to shop for a new bed to fit in my current room. We are a few days away to 2020 and I've started to commit to my fitness goals already. The latest active sg gyms at Jurong Lake and Hockey Village is so inviting with its brand new looks. While the one at Jurong Lake is super spacious, you can find instagramable walls and spots at Hockey Village. Just in time with fitness journey and the new year, we launched #LSlife items such as tote bag, note pad and water bottles. According to my coach advise, we re to drink up at least 3 litres of water daily to flush up toxins, get clearer skin and bring those body fat percentage down.
