We’re honoured to work together with visual artist, Inkten on a series of both collaborative and original artwork (Originals by Inkten) created exclusively for us.
Equilibirium, like the name suggests, its about balance and simplicity. For this artwork, Inkten uses acrylic on canvas, playing with dark tones. This piece is mysterious with different shades of dark green with a pop of orange to create the subtle contrast.
The Design Story
Inkten’s work takes on an analytical perspective on her view into the future of mark-making. She pushes and reconstructs the narrative of urban art-making into an immersive world of transcendent structures, patterns, and geometry.
“I have always been inspired by the potential of what a blank canvas can bring. I was drawn to the beauty of geometry during the process of simplifying my drawings into minimal lines and choose to create spontaneously,
Just following and feeling it through until it feels right. I take delight in creating something that comes purely from my consciousness and sensitivity without the representation of reality that unfolds in an unexpected and graceful approach.”
