Time flew by so fast and it’s already April. Feels like it was only yesterday when I met lovely girls during Makers Meet dinner at Asha&Co’s home studio! I was invited to share about my experiences on how I embraced creative rut and tips to climb out of it.
As you can see from the photos above, I jot down some pointers. On previous #lullyslist, I’ve mentioned a few times that one should never compare your work with other creatives. The only thing you should compare is your previous work. Look back to see if you made any progress.
On the same photo above, I crossed out ‘Love the process of doing your craft.’ It didn’t feel right to me! The greatest takeaway for the night was when one the girls Raudha Raily said, ‘Trust the process.’
That reminded me of the challenging times when we were designing the Nautical collection. It took awhile but Alhamdulliah, Red Navy shawl is sold out!
The Makers Meet has been inspirational. It felt great to have a support system where we could share our struggles. The next Makers Meet is already full! I’m looking forward to the next one.
P/S : We are still taking orders for Nautical Striped Shirt! We can do bigger sizes this time..just email us!
